THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RIMAAH (X Ndlovu) fly-jumped leaving the stalls, losing three lengths. b) EASY LIVING (M Yeni) and AND WE DANCED (L Mxothwa) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After being slow to begin, AND WE DANCED (L Mxothwa) raced wide on the first turn. b) Approaching the 200m AND WE DANCED (L Mxothwa) had to be checked away from the heels of PINNACLE (D Schwarz), which shifted out away from the crop. Thereafter AND WE DANCED (L Mxothwa) had to be directed to the outside of DEFINITELY MAYBE (R Fourie) when caried outwards by PINNACLE (D Schwarz), which continued to shift out without sufficient correction. c) Jockey D Schwarz was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of PINNACLE he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to AND WE DANCED approaching the 200m. Jockey D Schwarz signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of seven (7) days.
