THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GOLDEN HOSTESS (A Domeyer) and BROADWAY GIRL (K Matsunyane) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ENEMY TERRITORY (IRE) (G Wright) pulled hard in the early stages. b) In view of the performance of GOLDEN HOSTESS (A Domeyer) (Betting 2/1; Distance 5.50 lengths), which was hanging out and raced awkwardly on the turn and jumped a patch that was across the track at the finish, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) ENEMY TERRITORY (IRE), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
