ALWAHSH (NZ) cast its right fore shoe at the start and was re-fitted by the Farrier, this caused a delay to the start of this Race which was further compounded by the withdrawal of ALPINE GLACIER. ALPINE GLACIER refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this gelding is withdrawn. ALWAHSH (NZ) cast its right fore shoe at the start. LE GRAND ROUGE and VOICES OF LIGHT were slow into stride. In view of the Starter's report with regard to ALPINE GLACIER this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and he was suspended for a period of 30 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading into the stalls. ALPINE GLACIER may not be presented for re-passing during this period. ALDO was slightly buffeted between LE GRAND ROUGE and CLIFTON CRUSHER at approximately the 150m. GOLD DRAGON broke down at approximately the 400m and had to be pulled out of the race by its rider. VOICES OF LIGHT and LE GRAND ROUGE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ALWAHSH (NZ) - not striding out in front and abnormal respiratory noise. GOLD DRAGON - euthanasia, broken right carpus - humanely euthanized. VOICES OF LIGHT - not striding out left fore, treated. Scratched: ALPINE GLACIER refused to load.
