THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WANTAGE (J Penny) was restless in the stalls and was also slow out losing one length. b) Fair break for the rest. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) JET MIRAGE (J Syster) hung in from the 400m b) Jockey W Marwing reported that ONLY HIM changed strides continuously in running. In view of this report, the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) JET MIRAGE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
