THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROYAL AUSSIE (G van Niekerk) was restless in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) CHARLES DICKENS (A Domeyer) was steadied and taken in behind runners to obtain cover shortly after the start. b) Leaving the 700m CHARLES DICKENS (A Domeyer) commenced to over race, raced onto the heels of AL MUTHANA (AUS) (G Lerena) and thereafter raced wide on the latter part of the turn and into the straight. c) AT MY COMMAND (C Zackey) was hanging out in the straight. d) SEE IT AGAIN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
