THE STARTER REPORTED: a) JUMPING ANALIA (J Gates) was stubborn loading. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Stable Employee M Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer A P Peter, was advised (GT). b) LOVEGRASS (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) BLUE CLOUD (M Yeni) and WHISTLEDOWN (K A Brewer) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BLUE CLOUD (M Yeni) commenced to give ground to the field from the 400m. b) LOVEGRASS (G Lerena) hung in from the 200m. c) Jockey K Matsunyane reported that FEATHER DANCER was blowing post race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to JUMPING ANALIA, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 6 December 2023 to 12 December 2023. JUMPING ANALIA may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Stable Employee M Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer A P Peter, was advised. e) LOVEGRASS (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
