THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TOP MAN (M Yeni) and PARKER GETRIX (R Fourie) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey R Fourie did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey R Fourie reported that he felt something amiss with PARKER GETRIX in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) Jockey C Maujean reported that THE CHOSEN ONE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) SPRING IN HEAVEN (R Danielson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
