Apprentice Klink did not ride at today's racemeeting. He was replaced on his mounts. The start of this race was delayed due to CORNISH POMODORO and WHIPPING BOY refusing to load and thereafter TOMMY TIGER and SPANISH BALLAD injuring themselves in the starting stalls. CRAZY CHARLIE and THE IT FACTOR lost one length. CORNISH POMODORO and WHIPPING BOY refused to load. The Starting Stall Certificates for these horses have been withdrawn. SPANISH BALLAD was unruly, reared over in the stalls and thereafter kicked out making contact with TOMMY TIGER. SPANISH BALLAD was subsequently scratched by the Course Veterinary Surgeon. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report with regard to CORNISH POMODORO, this colt was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable loading into the starting stalls and jumping on terms with a companion. CORNISH POMODORO may not be presented for repassing during this period. In view of the Starter's report with regard to WHIPPING BOY, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable loading into the starting stalls and jumping on terms with a companion. WHIPPING BOY may not be presented for repassing during this period. In view of the Starter's report with regard to SPANISH BALLAD, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable loading into the starting stalls and jumping on terms with a companion. SPANISH BALLAD may not be presented for repassing during this period. Workrider Mosia the rider of THE IT FACTOR, had his crop accidentally struck from his hand at the 200m. Workrider Gwingwizha was warned regarding his behaviour at the start following the withdrawal of CORNISH POMODORO. CITY DANCER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. When afforded the opportunity to explain to the Board the poor performance of CITY DANCER on 14 November 2019, Trainer Habib explained that this gelding had shown lots of pace in this race but had faded badly in the straight. He attributed this performance to CITY DANCER being flat in its second run following a lay off. EL ROMIACHI and MASTEROFTHEHICOURT raced unshod. Workrider Ndlovu was charged with a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse FRIENDS FOREVER, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the Trainer. Workrider Ndlovu signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in two Workrider races Vet: THE IT FACTOR - mild post race distress. HOUSE MASTER - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: CORNISH POMODORO and WHIPPING BOY - refused to load. TOMMY TIGER - injured in stalls; abrasions on head and lower limb - kicked by SPANISH BALLAD. SPANISH BALLAD - reared over in the stalls.
