THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FLAMBOYANT FLYER (R Khathi) was restless in the stalls. b) EQUILIBRIUM (M Yeni) was nervous in the stalls. c) WHATCHMYTAIL (M Mjoka) and LAVA FIELDS (D Schwarz) jumped slow, losing one length. d) AS FATE HAS IT (S Khumalo) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ELUSIVE MATA (L Mxothwa) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. b) FLAMBOYANT FLYER (R Khathi) was hanging out in the latter stages. c) Jockey D Ashby reported that MY MISTRESS did not stride out freely in running.
