THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start BONIKA (G Lerena) was bumped in by ALPHABETTY (J Gates), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) In the concluding stages, ON THE HORIZON (K A Brewer) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the outside of MARY'S GREENLIGHT (M Yeni), which hung out from the 200m and was corrected. c) ALPHABETTY (J Gates) hung in in the concluding stages. d) Jockey G Lerena reported that he felt something amiss with BONIKA in running.
