Please note that Jockey Sampson, Jockey Thackeray, C Jockey Storey and Jockey van Rensburg were unable to fulfil their riding engagements at Today's Racemeeting due to their riding equipment being left behind in South Africa by the Fastjet Airline they travelled on. They were replaced on their rides where suitable jockeys/apprentices were available. The Stipendiary Board granted permission to replacement riders to weigh out as close to the carded weight as possible and where they weighed out more than the carded weight leeway was granted in terms of fines. WHITE WINTER flyjumped leaving the starting stalls. CLASH CITY ROCKER shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. Apprentice Mwindiwa, signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he saluted in a celebratory gesture prior to the finish line whilst riding the gelding CLASH CITY ROCKER.
