THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ORIENTAL BOUQUET (M Yeni), CAPETOWN BEAUTY (C Maujean) and MINOGUE (R Fourie) were restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Jockey K Matsunyane (MARIGOLD HOTEL) reported that his saddle slipped back leaving the starting stalls. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon and the video evidence. b) LUCKY MISS (*R A Venniker) was hanging out from the 250m. c) Jockeys M Yeni (ORIENTAL BOUQUET), C Habib (MVULAZANA) and FORESHORE (S Veale) reported that their respective mounts did not act in the prevailing soft track conditions. d) ROCKIE REEF (D Daniels), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
