THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SHAMPIMPI (C Zackey) and ALESIA'S LOVE (M Yeni) were restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) METEORIC (K A Brewer) commenced to give ground to the field from the 250m, In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. b) Jockey G Lerena reported that he felt something amiss with JASIRI in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) WINGS WITHIN ME (D Schwarz), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F P Habib advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) SHAMPIMPI: Jockey C Zackey weighed out at 54,9kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) JASIRI raced without a compression mask (declared 2 January 2024 at 08H34).
