THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, KEY ELEMENT (*R A Venniker) and MARY'S GREENLIGHT (M Yeni) came together and bumped. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) WOMAN OF POWER (*M K Katjedi) jumped awkwardly outwards making contact with the left-side front gate leaving the stalls. b) WOMAN OF POWER (*M K Katjedi) over-raced in the early and middle stages and thereafter tired badly from the 400m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) MIA MOO (S Moodley) hung in from the 400m. d) GARLANDSOFGREENERY (C Habib) hung in from the 200m. e) Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with GARLANDSOFGREENERY in running.
