THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DOLCEZZA (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, SIGRID SWING (Wes Marwing) was brushed in by DOLCEZZA (G Lerena), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) LIL MISS MONEYBAGS (K A Brewer) over-raced in the early stages. c) Shortly after the finish, SOUTHERN STYLE stumbled and fell dislodging Jockey J Penny. Jockey J Penny was attended to by the Course Paramedics and transported to the Medical Centre for further examination. d) THERE SHE GOES (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer W Marwing, acting on behalf of Trainer W H Marwing, was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) BLUE WATERS was ridden by Apprentice M K Katjedi (declared 12 January 2024 at 20H23). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) BLUE WATERS raced without blinkers and without a tongue tie (declared 12 January 2024 at 20H22).
