Apprentices Klink and Dicken did not ride at today's racemeeting (medically indisposed). They were replaced on their mounts. Jockey Habib did not ride at today's racemeeting (family responsibility). He was replaced on his mounts. The start of this Race was delayed due to the late arrival of the saddle cloths on course as well as the withdrawal of ACTION PACKED and KATZENTHAL by the course Veterinary Surgeon. TOP DRAWER was restless and jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. In view of the performance of SULTAN'S DAUGHTER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. TOP DRAWER hung in throughout. FIRE AND ICE and WINTERS POWER hung in, in the concluding stages. ZIMBABA raced green. WAR ROOM was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. FIRE AND ICE raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. Vet: PROMISE TO DREAM - severe post race distress and abnormal respiratory noise.
