THE STARTER REPORTED: a) OH MY GUCCI GIRL (E Webber) refused to load and was withdrawn, causing a delay. b) HAPPY HOLLY (S Khumalo) was nervous in the stalls. c) CHEF D'OEUVRE (D Schwarz) fly-jumped leaving the stalls, losing one length. d) FIRE FESTIVAL (C Maujean) and BRETTY (M van Rensburg) jumped slow, losing two lengths. e) SERENDIPITOUS (M Yeni) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 200m HAPPY HOLLY (S Khumalo) shifted in away from the crop and had to be straightened. b) FANTASY GIRL (R Fourie) and MILLION REASONS (R Danielson) raced green. c) In view of the report from the Starter regarding OH MY GUCCI GIRL (E Webber), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to load with a companion. (Suspension dates: 27/01/2024 to 02/02/2024 inclusive). OH MY GUCCI GIRL may not be presented for re-passing during this period. d) HAPPY HOLLY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised.
