THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TUSCAN GOLD (J Gates) jumped inwards. b) PUTINS PROMISE (D Schwarz), COOL WINTER (R Fourie) and ROSE FOR TRIPPI (*KJ Lihaba) jumped slow, losing one length. c) VISION OF WONDER (S Khumalo) stumbled leaving the stalls, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 250m, SEATTLE RIPPER (M Yeni) was carried inwards by ROSE FOR TRIPPI (*KJ Lihaba), which was hanging in and shifted in. b) Jockey W Marwing reported that CAITLYNS BOY was blowing post-race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) Jockey M Yeni reported that SEATTLE RIPPER changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) VISION OF WONDER (S Khumalo) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1.
