THE STARTER REPORTED: a) UNCONQUERABLE LADY (C Zackey) was restless in the stalls, was taken out, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon, passed suitable to race and reloaded. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) MY FLOWER FATE (G Wright) was squeezed out shortly after the start. b) KINKY BOOTS (O Noach) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. c) The saddle on UNCONQUERABLE LADY (C Zackey) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by a Stipendiary Steward. d) Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that FLYING V did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding UNCONQUERABLE LADY (C Zackey), Trainer C Bass-Robinson will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. f) SUMMER LILY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
