THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KNOCKOUT (G van Niekerk) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LA DIVINA (C Zackey) (Betting 3/1) was examined at the start by the course Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn. The start of this race was delayed to allow the betting public time to restructure their bets. b) Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that NIGHT VIGIL did not stride out freely in running.
