THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PORTO ZANTE (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) GRANDIOSA (G Wright) was hanging in from the 200m and had to be straightened at the 100m. An Inquiry will be held into Jockey G Wright's riding in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) In view of the performance of COULDITBE (A Domeyer), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) LOREINA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
