Workrider Ndlovu did not ride at today's racemeeting. He was replaced on his mount in Race 1. Apprentice Dicken did not ride at today's racemeeting (medically indisposed). He was replaced on his mounts. Jockey Randolph did not ride at today's racemeeting (Stipes permission - Jockey Randolph who is KZN based, ride in the Feature race was withdrawn which only left him with one ride). He was replaced on his mount in Race 10. HIGHTAIL lost one length. JUSTALANA was stubborn loading and thereafter fly-jumped leaving the stalls losing three lengths. Trainer Spies was advised to re-school this filly prior to her next engagement. At approximately the 400m, ANATURA was carried out by ROCK PRINCESS, which shifted out away from the crop. ENCRYPTION was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The Board after taking Workrider Ndlovu's poor recent record into consideration regarding overweight and failing to fulfill his engagements because of overweight, has blocked him at the NRB from accepting rides in Workrider races until such time as he can prove that he has his weight issues under control. Vet: HIGHTAIL - post race distress. Scratched: SWEET CHARIOT - Stipes permission; This filly was accepted to race in today's racemeeting as a precaution because of the inclement weather recently in Johannesburg. Trainer Sham requested that she be scratched as there is a race for her on the 24th of December 2019. As nominations had not been done for this race at the time of her request, permission was granted. CATCH A GLIMPSE - abscess left front.
