THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MOUNT PILATUS (P Mxoli) was restless in the stalls and thereafter jumped awkwardly losing three lengths. Trainer P F Matchett was advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TSAR BOMBA (G Lerena) hung in from the 400m to the 200m. b) In view of the performance of MOUNT PILATUS (P Mxoli), (distance 14,00 lengths, betting 4/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) Apprentice T Mayhew reported that PROPHET changed stride continually in running.
