THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LINGOTTO (S Khumalo) and SOVEREIGN COMMAND (R Khathi) were stubborn to load. b) NEW HOPE ALABAMA (D Daniels) was restless in the stalls. c) THE MIKADO (C Habib) and ALWAYS SHINING (R A Venniker) lost 1 length. d) SAMUEL LONGSWORD (R Fourie) fly-jumped leaving the stalls and lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) CODE OF CONDUCT (M Thackeray) was hanging in from the 350m. b) Approaching the 200m NOTABLE (S Moodley) shifted in away from DAPPER (M Yeni) which was hanging in from the 250m, and rolled in. c) Jockey C Habib reported that THE MIKADO changed stride continually in the running.
