THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ZIL MORIS (C Zackey) was stubborn loading and slow into stride. b) HAT'S PRIDE (D Schwarz) jumped slow, losing one length. c) UBISIKA (M Yeni) and ANATOLIAN SILVER (S Khumalo) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) HAT'S PRIDE (D Schwarz) was hanging in from the 400m. b) Jockeys C Zackey and M Yeni, the riders of ZIL MORIS and UBISIKA respectively, reported that these geldings did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) FAIRY KNIGHT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
