THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SONIC JET (M Yeni) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) BELLA'S CHARM (C Zackey) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, VARVARA (R Fourie) was carried out by OXALIS GOLD (M van Rensburg), which was bumped out by SONIC JET (M Yeni), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) VARVARA (R Fourie) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 300m. c) FATAL FLAW (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
