THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LADY ELLIOT (M Yeni) was restless in the stalls. b) PRIMROSE PATH (C Maujean) stood losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) RAINING RUBIES (*M K Katjedi) took an awkward stride after making contact with the inside running rail at the 1000m. b) Jockey C Zackey reported that MIA FIORE took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. Trainer M N Houdalakis was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of MIA FIORE on return to stables. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to PRIMROSE PATH, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 10 April 2024 to 16 April 2024. PRIMROSE PATH may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised. d) ALESIA'S LOVE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer R R Magner advised (LK). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
