THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRINCESS KESH (*T Mayhew) stood, losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this mare has been withdrawn. Trainer H E Adamson was advised (GT). b) CRIMSON FOREST (D Schwarz) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) PRINCESS KESH (*T Mayhew), after losing many lengths, was unable to make up the deficit and trailed the field throughout. b) PRICELESS (K Matsunyane) tired badly from the 300m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) In the concluding stages, DIMAKO'S JET (C Habib) was switched out to continue its run. d) Jockey S Moodley reported that OCTOBER FAIR changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) Apprentice T Mayhew reported that PRINCESS KESH made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. f) In view of the Starter's report with regard to PRINCESS KESH, this mare's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 14 April 2024 to 20 April 2024. PRINCESS KESH may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer H E Adamson was advised. g) ROSY LEMON (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Bronkhorst advised (LK). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
