THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DREAM SCAPE (M van Rensburg) was stubborn loading. b) MIDNIGHT CRYSTAL (*T Mayhew) was nervous in the stalls and kicked the back gates. c) COLORAMA (D Ashby) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) DREAM SCAPE (M van Rensburg) raced without cover in the early stages and, as a consequence, proved difficult to settle. b) CONCERTO (R Fourie) was hanging out in the straight. c) Jockey M Yeni reported that IDABELLE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) Jockey D Ashby reported that COLORAMA did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. e) MORE THAN A DREAM (*DB Geerthsen) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1.
