THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MUCHO DINERO (G van Niekerk) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) THE GREY KING (M Yeni) over-raced in the early stages. b) PRINCE OF TARANTO (M Thackeray) was hanging out between the 400m and the 200m. c) FORMAGEAR (S Khumalo) was hanging in and shifted in from the 250m. d) Apprentice S Hlengwa reported that QUEUE WING did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey G van Niekerk reported that MUCHO DINERO changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) In view of the performance of BARATHEON (J Jacobs) (6.70 lengths, 10/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) Trainer Y Govender acting on behalf of Trainer P Botha signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1., in that he failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for BARATHEON.
