THE STARTER REPORTED: a) QUEEN OF GAUL (K Minnie) jumped slow, losing four lengths. b) FAIRY TRIPP (S Khumalo) and KILEIGH'S FATE (P Mxoli) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) On inspection, it was found that the issue with the starting stalls in the previous race was as a result of a faulty electrical wire, which was attended to. The stalls were tested prior to the running of this race and found to be in good working order. b) GLOBAL GODDESS (C Zackey) was directed outwards and into clear running approaching the 200m. c) Jockey L Mxothwa reported that ANIARA did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding QUEEN OF GAUL (K Minnie), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to jump on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 27/04/2024 to 03/05/2024 inclusive). QUEEN OF GAUL may not be presented for re-passing during this period. e) EXECUTOR, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
