THE STARTER REPORTED: a) IT'S HER WAY (C Habib) and MY GAL VIV (C Zackey) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) GREEN SAPPHIRE (K Matsunyane) and LACEWING (D Schwarz) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) MY GAL VIV (C Zackey), after being slow away, failed to muster speed on debut and trailed the field throughout.
