THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUGAR BLAST (C Habib) was stubborn loading. Trainer A P Peter to be advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, IMPERIAL MASTER (P Mxoli) was buffeted between RAISEAHALLELUJAH (R Danielson), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls, and SUPREME DANCE (M Yeni), which was carried out by HOME OF THE BRAVE (S Khumalo), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) In view of the performance of SUKHUMVIT (D De Gouveia), which raced fiercely in the early and middle stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) SUGAR BLAST (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
