THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 1400m LUCKY MISS (R A Venniker) commenced to over-race for a short distance and was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of DAMOSTAR (*K J Lihaba). b) Apprentice K J Lihaba (DAMOSTAR) and Jockeys R Fourie (HOLD MY HAND) and D De Gouveia (DANSE MILORD) reported their respective mounts did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss in the running with JULIET TANGO. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss in the concluding stages with IVY LEAGUE. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning IVY LEAGUE, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
