THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MADAME POMPADOUR (G Lerena) Lost 1 length. b) MOTHER INDIA (C Habib) was stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start PARIS LIGHTS (*B Plaatjies) was brushed by LADYBUG (S Moodley) which was brushed in by DOUBLEYOUESSBEE (S Khumalo) which jumped in leaving the starting stalls. b) FROSTED GREEN (*K J Lihaba) jumped out leaving the starting stalls. c) Apprentice B Plaatjies reported that PARIS LIGHTS took a number of awkward strides in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey S Khumalo reported that DOUBLEYOUESSBEE coughed in the running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride in the concluding stages.
