THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SANDY'S PRINCESS (S Naidoo) lifted its front legs off the ground as the start was effected and thereafter jumped awkwardly, losing many lengths. b) CONFETTI (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing two lengths. c) NATURAL WONDER (*N Nastili) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After being slow to begin, SANDY'S PRINCESS (S Naidoo) raced detached from the field throughout. b) MISS PRIOR (Y Ramzan) raced green and was hanging out on the turn and, as a consequence, raced wide on the latter part of the turn and into the straight. c) In view of the report from the Starter regarding SANDY'S PRINCESS (S Naidoo), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to jump on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 18/05/2024 to 24/05/2024 inclusive). SANDY'S PRINCESS may not be presented for re-passing during this period. d) PROJECT RUNWAY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised.
