Thereafter, FIRST LORD (Y Ramzan) raced without cover in the early stages and, as a consequence, proved difficult to settle and tired quickly in the straight. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. e) Trainer GD Smith was charged with a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that he failed to ensure that FIRST LORD was correctly equipped when presented in the parade ring.
