THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FENNEC FOX (P Mxoli) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) MIDNIGHT FUSION (R Fourie) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) HAPPY ANALIA (C Zackey), LOVEGRASS (G Lerena) and WAITFORGREENLIGHT (S Khumalo) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, Jockey R Danielson was severely unbalanced when JASIRI took an awkward stride and shifted out sharply. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) LOVEGRASS (G Lerena) hung in from the 200m. Jockey G Lerena reported that LOVEGRASS changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Apprentice S Sosibo reported that SMELTING did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) FENNEC FOX (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer R Klaasen advised (MduP).
