The start of this Race was delayed due to DATE PALM refusing to canter to the start and having to be led by a handler. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer Peter was advised that should this gelding behave in a similar manner in future it may be suspended. In view of the Starter's report with regard to DATE PALM, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion on a raceday. DATE PALM may not be presented for repassing during this period. INDY GO hung in from the 400m. GREEN TOP hung in from the 300m. Jockey Munger was charged with a contravention, read with Guideline M on the use of the crop, in that he struck INDY GO more than twelve times in the entire race.
