THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SOVEREIGN STATE (C Habib) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) GET IMPRESSED (M Yeni) over-raced in the early stages proving difficult to assist. Thereafter this gelding was hanging in, in the concluding stages. b) PERFECTION (S Khumalo) raced wide around the latter part of the turn and compounded in the straight. Thereafter Jockey S Khumalo reported this gelding made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running.
