THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 200m SEA OF TEARS (S Khathi) shifted both ways away from the crop. b) Leaving the 200m MORNING CHESS (D Daniels) was steadied briefly and directed outwards when unable to secure clear running between the inside running rail and DUKE OF ORANGE (*N Nastili), which was hanging in. c) Jockey X Ndlovu reported that WAR LAUNCH changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) JOYOUS JUBILEE (AUS) (C Maujean) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1.
