THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LINGOTTO (N Patel) was stubborn to load. Jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. b) BARRY DU GROND (S Khumalo) was restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) DARING DASH (D De Gouveia) over-raced in the early stages. b) At approximately the 1200m FLYING REIGN STORM (S Moodley) which commenced to over-race, shifted out to avoid running onto the heels of DAVOS (A Mgudlwa). c) Jockey S Khumalo reported that BARRY DU GROND made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running.
