WINTER'S AWAKENING jumped slow, losing one length. POSSIBILITY was slow into stride. At the 250m, BLUE WONDER and ROSEMARY MEADOW were carried in by WINTER'S AWAKENING, which raced green and shifted in. FAVOUR ME shifted out sharply for no apparent reason at the 50m. The Board reviewed FAVOUR ME's previous run on 30th November 2019 over 1200m and were satisfied that this filly had been ridden and raced on merit. The Board made note of the 4th placed horse in that race being 7 lengths behind the winner. Assistant trainer R van Reenen, who was also present during the review, stated that, in his opinion, this filly had been working very well and was suited to the slightly longer distance of today's race. His explanation was noted and the Board will monitor her future performances. FAVOUR ME was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: RYANAIR - blood in mouth.
