THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) WORK OF TIME (*I Taka) was buffeted between LEAVING LAS VEGAS (X Ndlovu) and GOLDEN PACIFIC (*N Nastili) shortly after the start. b) GOLDEN PACIFIC (*N Nastili), which was hanging in between the 400m and the 200m, took an awkward stride shortly after the finishing line. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer GD Smith was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. c) GOCEKWITHLOVE (L Mxothwa) was hanging in from the 300m. d) Jockey K Minnie reported that he felt something amiss with LILY OF THE NILE. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) MISS GREENLIGHT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
