THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls GRINKOV (S Veale) and FORMAGEAR (G Lerena) came together and bumped. As a result GRINKOV (S Veale) lost 1 length. b) Approaching the 300m PRINCE OF TARANTO (M Thackeray) which rolled out was steadied off the heels of MONEY HEIST (C Habib). c) Approaching the 300m GRINKOV (S Veale) was inconvenienced when close to the heels of MARY'S GREENLIGHT (M V'Rensburg), which rolled out. d) SUNDANCE KID (R A Venniker) was hanging in from the 250m. e) At the 200m MARY'S GREENLIGHT (M V'Rensburg) was brushed on two occasions by MONEY HEIST (C Habib) which rolled in marginally. Thereafter, at the finish MARY'S GREENLIGHT (M V'Rensurg) and MONEY HEIST (C Habib) came together and brushed. f) In view of the performances of JOKER MAN (R Fourie) (6.35 lengths, 7/2 in the betting) and PRINCE OF TARANTO (M Thackeray) (7.55 lengths, 33/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) GET IMPRESSED (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
