The start of this Race was delayed due to ARISTACHUS proving difficult to load. SEEMYVISION was slow losing one length. QUEEN OF WAR was slow losing two lengths. ARISTACHUS was stubborn loading, restless and reared in the stalls. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report with regard to ARISTACHUS, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable loading into the stalls with a companion. ARISTACHUS may not be presented for repassing during this period. Jockey Lerena reported that ARISTACHUS did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Khan reported that he felt something amiss with SEEMYVISION in running. LOOK TO THE SKY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LAND OF THE BRAVE was ridden by Apprentice D Schwarz. LAND OF THE BRAVE and LOOK TO THE SKY raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. QUEEN OF WAR raced equipped with alumites a tongue tie. Vet: ARISTACHUS - not striding out right hind. LOOK TO THE SKY - mouth injury. QUEEN OF WAR - abrasion on head from starting stalls. SEEMYVISION - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. After the running of Race 8, Jockey Khan was stood down by the Course Medical Officer (dehydration). He was replaced on his mount in Race 10.
