THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DUENNA (P Mxoli) stumbled leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) THAT'S MY BABY (G Lerena) over raced in the early stages. Thereafter, Jockey G Lerena reported that he felt something amiss with this filly. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) In view of the performance of VIX PRINCESS (C Habib), which raced wide without cover around the turn and into the straight, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey JR Syster reported that ALABAMA ANNA made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) Shortly before the finish line SOLDIER'S EYE (KA Brewer) was steadied when racing into restricted galloping room between DUENNA (P Mxoli) and ALESIA'S LOVE (M Yeni), which shifted in away from the crop and was corrected. e) DUENNA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer N Titise, acting on behalf of Trainer ST Pettigrew, was advised.
