THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DOUBLE TRADE (M Yeni) was stubborn loading and nervous in the stalls. b) GLOBAL SCENE (C Maujean) was nervous in the stalls. c) FIRST WISH (S Veale) was nervous in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. d) NATURAL WONDER (*DB Geerthsen) jumped outwards THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start FIRST WISH (S Veale), which jumped outwards, made contact with the hindquarters of DOUBLE TRADE (M Yeni). As a consequence, FIRST WISH (S Veale) lost ground, which it quickly regained. b) NATURAL WONDER (*DB Geerthsen) over raced in the early and middle stages. c) GLOBAL SCENE (C Maujean) was hanging in from the 300m. d) FIRE FESTIVAL (P Mxoli) shifted in away from the crop from the 300m. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding DOUBLE TRADE (M Yeni), Trainer GD Smith will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. f) FIRST WISH, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
