THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VIHAAN'S QUEEN (K Matsunyane) was stubborn to load. b) OFF LIMITS (C Maujean), FORWARD MOTION (*B Plaatjies), FIRECRACKER (S Veale) and ESCAPE ARTIST (K A Brewer) lost 1 length. c) FABULOUS (R A Venniker) lost 2 lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) PILOT FLAME (T Godden) over-raced in the early stages and thereafter raced wide around the latter part of the turn and into the straight. b) TOMYRIS (A Mgudlwa) was hanging out from the 300m. c) Leaving the 200m VIHAAN'S QUEEN (K Matsunyane) was carried out marginally on two occasions by FAIZAH (G Lerena), which rolled out. d) Jockey M Yeni reported that QUANTUM did not stride out freely in the pull up area. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey R A Venniker reported that she felt something amiss with FABULOUS in the running and as a result did not persevere with her ride in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) MISS PLATINA (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Prinsloo advised (DZ).
