MATTINA (*J Mphanya) was slow into stride.RUBY DAWN (R Munger) was nervous in the stalls.DOUBLED OVER (K Minnie) was slow losing many lengths. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn.In view of the Starter's report with regard to DOUBLED OVER, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable.Suspension dates:4 January 2020 to 10 January 2020.DOUBLED OVER may not be presented for repassing during this period. Trainer T J Laing advised.Jockeys B Fayd'Herbe (WHISKY TANGO) and M Byleveld (READY SET GO) reported that their respective mounts made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses.MATTINA (*J Mphanya), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.Trainer G D Smith advised.RUBY DAWN was ridden by Jockey R Munger.The vet reported:MATTINA abnormal respiratory noise.WHISKY TANGO examined post race, nothing obvious detected.DOUBLED OVER not striding out in front.READY SET GO not striding out right front.RUBY DAWN abnormal respiratory noise.
